So, the good news is that our tub is no longer clogged. You know how annoying it is when you take a shower and end up standing in water up to your calf because the drain is clogged or just draining REALLY slowly. We've been dealing with it. It would drain, just would take a while. Saturday night, the tub finally wouldn't drain anymore. R did his best in trying to clear it, but it just caused the toilet to clog. We were thinking, "Well, at least we have the bathroom downstairs that we can use. Good thing, huh?" Do you see where this is going?
And the bad news--It started to rain in our downstairs bathroom.
We had to have a plumber come Saturday night at 11pm. He was there until 1 am. Then, a disaster repair company came Sunday morning and proceeded to cut away the ceiling and wall in the downstairs bathroom (you know, the bathroom we JUST did) and pulled up some carpet in the boys bedroom right next to the bathroom (Yeah, that carpet we JUST laid down 2 days before Christmas.)
The kids are having slumber parties in MK's room.

Ewww sorry to hear that. Glad they got it fixed and the kids are making an adventure out of it.
Home owner-ship certainly has it's perks and it's headaches. As far as the new carpet being pulled up etc., it kinda reminds me of when I wash the car and it then rains the next day! What's the status now of the bathrooms??
Hey, it was so good to see you & chat. What a great little family you have.
Hope things get sorted out with the plumbing situation soon!... and no, I can't believe that it has really been 10 years since we were in France. We can't be that old, can we?
